Columbia agency gets international recognition for graphic design work with First Baptist Church, MoDOT
Columbia, MO – Visionworks Marketing Group has received two 2015 MarCom Awards for graphic design excellence based on work it created on behalf of Missouri Department of Transportation and First Baptist Church.
The work for MoDOT was highlighted by a specially designed St. Louis Taxi marketing campaign with a focus on drunk driving prevention. The “Call A Taxi” campaign was featured on sidewalks, car seat head rests and signage throughout the St. Louis area. The work earned a platinum MarCom award, which is the highest distinction given.
Visionworks also received a gold MarCom award for a brochure it designed in partnership with First Baptist Church. The eye-catching piece unfolds into the shape of a cross and promotes the church’s “Unity Without Uniformity” slogan.
The 2015 MarCom Award competition featured some 6,000 entries from 34 countries to determine the best examples of conceptualization, writing and design of print, visual, audio and web materials and programs.
